U.S. FCC Joint Steering Committee

  • Leadership: Each area (ACC and PED) is led by a corresponding chair.
    • The ACC and PED Chairs serve as co-chairs to the US HFCC Joint Steering Committee.
    • The ACC and PED Chairs are appointed by DOE OHEP.
  • U.S. HFCC-PED Chair: Srini Rajagopalan (BNL)
  • U.S. HFCC-PED Deputy Chair: Valentina Cairo (Yale)
  • U.S. HFCC-ACC Chair; Tor Raubenheimer (SLAC)
  • U.S. HFCC-ACC Deputy Chair: Steve Gourlay (Fermilab)
  • Role of co-chairs: Coordinates the strategic partnership with CERN and other major stakeholders, and addresses issues common to both ACC and PED.
  • The PED and ACC chairs oversee the technical program in their respective domains and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders.
  • The PED and ACC chairs are also responsible for overseeing the PED and ACC Steeting committee, respectively.

FCC PED Advisory Committees

  • Role: Provide advice to the Chairs on scope, prioritization, requirements, and broader community needs.
  • Membership: Appointed by the respective ACC/PED Chairs.

U.S.–CERN FCC Coordination Committee

  • Role: Primary interface group between the U.S. community and CERN FCC management to address scientific and technical R&D, priorities, and overall direction.
